Rebecca L. Ennis graduated, cum laude, from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 2006, where she was an editor of the University of Richmond Law Review, as well as a staff member of the Richmond Journal of Law and the Public Interest. During her last year of law school, Ms. Ennis also clerked for United States Magistrate Judge Dennis W. Dohnal, of the Eastern District of Virginia. Prior to law school, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree from American University, cum laude, in Political Science and Interdisciplinary Studies: Communications, Economics, Legal Institutions and Government.

After law school, Ms. Ennis served as a law clerk for the judges of the Virginia Beach Circuit Court, where she gained an intricate knowledge of the divorce process, both contested and uncontested, as well as other aspects of civil litigation. Currently, she is practicing law in the areas of domestic relations, estate planning and administration, elder law, and business law.
